Increasingly, IHRM scholars are being asked to demonstrate the impact of their research beyond academic networks. In some countries (e.g., U.K., Australia), demonstration of research impact is being introduced as a metric for academic research performance. Research impact is also important for business school accreditation; for example, AACSB International has standards for business schools to demonstrate their contributions to societal needs. For many of us, however, engaging with industry partners, maintaining online social media accounts, and publishing in practitioner-oriented journals, are areas outside our ‚comfort zone’. This webinar will host a panel of experts whose research is highly impactful. The panel members will share their experiences, insights, and best practices for translating IHRM research for practitioners and broader audiences.

HELEN DE CIERI

Helen De Cieri (Ph.D.) is a Professor of Management at Monash Business School, Monash University, Australia. Her work has been published in academic journals such as _Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Human Resource Management,_ _Leadership Quarterly, _and _Safety Science_. Helen’s current research activities combine her interests in international HRM and employee health and wellbeing. She has extensive experience in co-designed, collaborative, and impactful research projects with a broad range of industry and government partners.

BETINA SZKUDLAREK

Betina Szkudlarek (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney Business School. Her work has been published in top-tier international journals such as Organization Studies, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Business Ethics and featured in multiple national and international media outlets. Betina has collaborated with numerous multinational corporations, not-for-profits and government agencies. Beyond her academic commitments, she holds the post of Strategic Sustainability and Growth Consultant with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC).

LAUREN LOCKLEAR

Dr. Lauren Locklear (Ph.D.) is a Researcher and Assistant Professor of Management at Texas Tech University in the Rawls College of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Locklear specialized in the science of gratitude at work, demonstrating the power of a “thank you” to build interpersonal work relationships, address rude behaviors, and alleviate work stress. Her work has been published in various outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan Management Review. Her research has also been featured in media outlets such as Psychology Today, Forbes, CNBC, Inc., Yahoo News, and U.S. News & World Report.

PAULA CALIGIURI

Paula Caligiuri (Ph.D.) is a distinguished Professor of International Business at Northeastern University. She researches and consults in the areas of expatriate management, global leadership development, and cultural agility. She has served as an Area Editor for the _Journal of International Business Studies_ and as a Senior Editor for the _Journal of World Business_. Paula has been a frequent expert guest on CNN and CNN International and is an instructor for LinkedIn Learning courses. She was a semi-finalist for the 2021 Forbes “50 over 50” for co-founding a public benefit corporation, Skiilify, to help foster cross-cultural understanding. Paula holds a Ph.D. from Penn State in Organizational Psychology and is a Fellow of both the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Academy of International Business.

SEBASTIAN REICHE

B. Sebastian Reiche (Ph.D.) is Professor of People Management at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. His research focuses on the forms, prerequisites and consequences of global work, international HRM, global leadership and knowledge transfer, and has appeared in _Academy of Management Discoveries,_ _Academy of Management Journal,_ _Journal of International Business Studies,_ _ Journal of Management Studies, _and _Organization Science,_ among others. Sebastian’s contributions have also featured in the international press, including _The Economist,_ _Financial Times,_ _BBC Capital,_ and _Forbes._ At IESE, he has designed, directed and delivered Custom Executive Education programs for a number of companies, including Allied Irish Bank, Boehringer Ingelheim, SAP, Deloitte, and Rijk Zwaan.
